The spring meeting of the Plants, Soils, Ecosystems group is fast approaching on April 6th and 7th at the University of Lancaster, and I would like to invite you all to submit abstracts.
The theme of the meeting will be to put a spotlight on the challenges and opportunities that winter presents in our research. We’re interested in cold climate research (arctic tundra, alpine etc), but also seasonal research in temperate landscapes, an aspect that is often overlooked.
We will be working towards publishing a Perspectives piece from the proceeds of this meeting, with attendees offered the opportunity for co-authorship.
We will be interested in receiving offered talks under the following headings:
1. Arctic and alpine ecology;
2. Seasonal dynamics in ecology;
3. Winter/snow ecology (temperate systems)
Please send your abstracts to email@example.com by March 1st.
